Create and adjust your Kamplix forms by talking to Claude or ChatGPT

The Kamplix connector lets a company administrator create and adjust their forms by talking to an assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) instead of using the web editor. This page explains how it connects, what it can do, what it cannot, and what happens to your data.
1 Requirements
- A Kamplix account with a verified email.
- The administrator role in at least one company.
There are no keys or tokens to copy: you sign in with your Kamplix account.

2 How to connect it
Look for it in your assistant’s connector directory or add it by URL. By URL, the steps are:
In Claude
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Choose “Add custom connector”.
- Paste the URL
https://api.kamplix.com/mcpand press “Add”. - Approve access on the Kamplix page that opens.
In ChatGPT
- Go to
chatgpt.com/plugins. - Press “+” and choose “Add custom MCP server”.
- Enter a public endpoint with the URL
https://api.kamplix.com/mcpand OAuth authentication. - Create it and approve access on the Kamplix page that opens.
The approval screen
In both cases a Kamplix page opens (app.kamplix.com). There you:
- Sign in, if you were not signed in already.
- See who is asking for access.
- Choose the company.
- Press “Allow” (“Permitir”).
The company is fixed for that connection. To work with another company, connect again and choose it.
3 Permissions
The approval screen shows three permissions:
- Read forms and reference tables.
- Edit drafts.
- Publish, which is separate.
The publish permission is off by default. If you want the assistant to be able to publish, you tick it yourself on that screen.
4 What it can do
The connector offers 26 tools. The assistant uses them depending on what you ask:

5 What it does not do
- It does not read submitted responses, people or assignments.
- It does not edit the PDF template.
- It does not archive forms.
6 Example prompts
Write to the assistant as you would write to a person:
- “Which Kamplix company am I connected to?”
- “Create a vehicle inspection form with a driver details section and an 8-point checklist. Leave it as a draft.”
- “In the inspection form, add a required numeric field ‘Mileage’ after the licence plate.”
- “Validate the draft and tell me what is missing before it can be published.”
- “Put the draft back to how it was before the last change.”
7 Security
- Sign-in with your Kamplix account, using OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.
- The role is checked on every call. Anyone who stops being an administrator loses access immediately.
- Changes to a form’s structure go to a draft. Nothing reaches your team until it is published.
- Draft snapshots are kept, so changes can be undone.
- Every action the assistant takes is logged.
8 Limits
They apply per connection:

9 Removing access
In the Kamplix web app, the “AI assistants” page (app.kamplix.com/assistants) shows your connections. Each one is removed with one click.
10 Your data and the assistant provider
When you use the connector, the content of the forms and reference tables the assistant reads is sent to that assistant’s provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) and is subject to their terms.
